
Depending of your oven and the size of your spaghetti squash, the roasting time may differ.
You can check if the spaghetti squash is cooked by poking it with a knife or a fork. If the flesh is tender then the squash is ready.

Scoop out the seeds and the stringy bits of flesh.
Season the inside of each half the squash with salt then place in a baking sheet cut side down.
Bake at 400°F for 40 to 45 minutes.

- 1 small spaghetti squash
- Salt to taste

Wash the spaghetti squash.

Cut off the tip top and bottom of the spaghetti squash.

Cut the spaghetti squash in half lengthwise.

Scoop out the seeds and stringy bits of flesh.

Season the inside of each halved squash with salt.

Place the halved spaghetti squash cut side down in a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Roast in a 400°F preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until tender. It is better to have an undercooked spaghetti squash than an overcooked one.

Let it cool for 10 minutes.

Use a fork to gently scrape the strands and fluff them. That makes them look like spaghetti.

Use the spaghetti squash in any spaghetti pasta recipe or as desired.
