

Oven baked Seasoned Fries

Ingredients
- 5 medium to large potatoes
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ginger powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 1/4 cup vegetable or canola oil plus more for brushing
Instructions

Peel the potatoes.

Wash and dry them.

Cut the potatoes into wedges or into fries shape.

Place the cut potatoes in a bowl.

Add salt, ginger, turmeric, paprika, garlic powder and oil.

Mix everything together by hands.

Place single layered in a large baking dish lined with parchment paper( for easy cleanup).

Bake in a 400°F preheated oven for about 1 hour(it took me 1 hour to bake the potatoes, but depending on your oven, it may take less time to cook.

Check on the potatoes from time to time.

Half way through cooking, brush the potatoes with oil and flip them over, brush the top.

Place the potatoes under the broiler (on high) in the last 10 minutes of cooking. Make sure to be around and check on them.
Recipe Notes
- You can add chili powder for some heat.
- You can add your favorite seasoning.
