Ingredients
- 8 pieces chicken
- 2 tbsp rosemary
- 2 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 stick melted butter
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 400°F.
-
Brush the chicken with butter in both sides.
-
Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper in both sides. Coat the chicken with paprika and rosemary in both sides as well. The seasoning is really a personal choice.
-
Place the chicken in a baking dish, single layered and put it in the oven (oven rack set to middle position).
-
Bake for about 30 minutes, then flip the chicken pieces over and put back in oven for 15 minutes.
-
Take out from the oven and take out the chicken juice by using a turkey baster and flip over the chicken pieces.
-
Brush generously to coat the chicken with your favorite barbecue sauce.
-
Put back in oven for 10 minutes.
-
Take the chicken out from the oven and flip sides, then coat the other side with barbecue sauce. Remove any excess liquid in the bottom of the baking dish.
-
Put back in the oven for 10 minutes.
-
Take out from the oven and flip over the chicken to brush it for the last time with barbecue sauce.
-
Pop it in the oven for the last 10 minutes. Put it to broil for about 2 to 3 minutes until the top is caramelized.
-
Serve.
