Homemade crème fraîche

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp buttermilk

Instructions

  1. Mix the two ingredients and pour in a glass container or glass cup.
  2. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and let stand at room temperature from 8 to 24 hours or until it become thick.
  3. Stir well then cover the crème fraîche again and refrigerate for 24 hours before use. You will obtain a nice smooth velvety texture.
