Chocolate Pumpkin Ice Cream

This is a great ice cream for pumpkin and chocolate lovers. The recipe is easy to make and does not require the use of an ice cream machine.

Ingredients

  • Melted chocolate for serving ( optional)

For the Ice Cream

  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • ¾ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • ¼ cup grated dark chocolate
  • ½ tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • ¼ tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. First whisk the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.

  2. Mix all the remaining ingredients in a bowl until well combined.
  3. Gently fold in the whipped cream.

  4. Pour the mixture in a container.

  5. Cover with plastic wrap to the surface and put the lid on.

  6. Place in a freezer for few hours, preferably overnight.

  7. Serve with melted chocolate on top ( optional).

Recipe Notes

  • The total time in this recipe didn’t include the freezing time.
